Safe Haven Project
The ongoing crisis in Myanmar has forced thousands of families to flee their homes and seek refuge in IDP camps in Thailand. These displaced families, many of them children, are struggling to access basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare. The Christian Outreach Center's (COC) Safe Haven Project is urgently calling on compassionate organizations to join us in this mission of mercy. By partnering with us, you can help provide essential aid to 1,000 Burmese refugee families living in Internally Displaced People (IDP) communities, giving them the support they need to survive and rebuild their lives. Beyond material assistance, we also offer emotional and spiritual support to uplift and empower these vulnerable communities.
Let’s unite in compassion and make a tangible difference in the lives of 1,000 Burmese refugee families. Your support will make a lasting impact on the lives of the most vulnerable.

COC and Global Impact Thailand Deliver Essential Relief to Burmese Refugees in Maesot
In a powerful act of compassion and service, volunteers from the Christian Outreach Center Foundation (COC), in collaboration with the COC Safe Haven Project and generously sponsored by Global Impact Thailand (GIT), successfully procured and delivered essential relief supplies to Burmese refugees in Maesot. This initiative aimed to support vulnerable families and children displaced by ongoing conflict and hardship in Myanmar.
COC and Global Impact Thailand Deliver Essential Relief to Burmese Refugees in Maesot
On September 27, 2024, the dedicated COC Volunteer team took action, purchasing 200 sacks of rice, 400 cans of sardines, and 600 packs of instant noodles, along with milk and snacks specifically prepared for 200 children. In addition, the GIT team also sponsored 75 blankets for the orphans living in Faith House, a shelter for children in need.
The relief goods were transported to Maesot on October 8-9, 2024, where they were distributed to 300 refugee families and 250 children from the Internally Displaced People (IDP) community, the Dump Site villages, and Faith House. The Global Impact team from Canada took part in the distribution, ensuring that each family received vital supplies, and that children were given nourishing snacks and blankets to stay warm as the colder months approach.
However, this effort went beyond providing material aid. COC and Global Impact volunteers also offered much-needed spiritual and emotional support to the refugees and children they encountered. Many of the recipients, having endured significant hardship, found comfort in the compassionate words, prayers, and encouragement offered by the volunteers.
This mission was made possible through the generous donations and efforts of the Global Impact Thailand team, who played a key role in sponsoring and supporting the project. Their dedication, coupled with the tireless work of the COC volunteer team, ensured that the mission was a success, providing both physical relief and spiritual upliftment to those in need.
The Christian Outreach Center Foundation is deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with Global Impact Thailand in the Safe Haven Project. Together, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of the Burmese refugees in Maesot and look forward to continuing our work to serve these vulnerable communities.
"We are grateful for partnering in these projects and for the lives that have been touched through this effort. We look forward to what God has in store as we continue to serve those in need."
This collaboration demonstrates how acts of service, driven by love and compassion, can provide hope and healing to those facing extraordinary challenges. Through ongoing efforts like these, we aim to bring more support and relief to those who need it most.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
